Yu-Sin Huang
Biomedical Visualization Specialist
Yu-Sin Huang started her career as a radiographer, but she soon discovered the incredible impact of ‘medical illustration’ in clinical practice. This led her to pursue a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Visualization, where she realized that she could serve as an important communication bridge between doctors and patients while also assisting various roles in the biomedical industry. She then ventured into the world of ‘biomedical visualization’ and worked for Elara Systems, a US-based medical animation agency, creating animations for medical device companies like Alcon and Apollo Endo (now part of Boston Scientific). She is currently based in Taiwan and serves clients globally.

After receiving the consultation request, we will inquire about your project requirements, objectives, timeline, and target audience to conduct preliminary planning.
We will provide you with a project quotation, estimated schedule, and contract to ensure timely project completion.
At this stage, we will conduct relevant literature research to ensure scientific accuracy and work with the client to find the most suitable approach.
We will ask the client for project-related materials, such as CAD files, research findings, or product briefs if they have any.
Understanding the target audience’s profiles during this stage is essential because we may use different storytelling methods for an audience with a scientific background compared to the general public.
Once we have a full picture of your scientific story, we will start to construct a visual prototype of the work. This is the most critical step in the production process. The planning process will be adjusted according to the type of project.
- Animation: Design the storyboard and script. This involves a series of sketches to confirm the main scenes and flow of the animation.
- Illustration: Preliminary sketches and copywriting.
- Interactive Design: Develop user experience plans, style settings, and related planning documents.
Once the client approves the final product plan, we move on to the creative stage. In this stage, we utilize our creativity to the fullest by creating 3D models, animating them, editing, and adding professional voiceovers. We also add post-production visual effects to enhance the visuals and make the video more engaging for the audience.
After closely collaborating and communicating with the client, we are now in the final stage of the project!
Before delivering the final files, our client will have a chance to review the final draft to ensure our client is completely satisfied with the final result.
Additionally, we will provide a guide for using the files, which will allow the client to easily utilize these materials in the future. The format of the deliverables will vary depending on the project type.
Once we’re done with the project, we’ll keep tabs on how the product is being used and follow up with the client to offer any help.
